It’s Fall Yall!
Today is the first official day of fall and can I just say that I am extremely chipper! Fall is wonderful! Don’t get me wrong, I am an avid lover of all four seasons, but I welcome the change. This means that it is almost my birthday. Its October 28th, just in case you were wondering (I welcome any and all gifts). Phew! Glad I got that out of the way. Seriously, fall is wonderful for other reasons than that. I love football season when it feels like fall, because who enjoys going to a football game and breaking a sweat? I want to be wearing a pea coat with a scarf and cheering on my favorite football team. That’s just my thoughts on the situation…
So today I wore jeans thinking it would be cool enough for that, who was I kidding? I was in a sweat by the time I got to where I was going on campus. That is just not a pleasant feeling whatsoever. I almost want to take a shower as soon as I get home. Tonight I have a hot date with Ag policy…I am going to spend a lot of time with him, hoping that it pays off tomorrow during my test.

If I could sing, I would be Rachel Berry…I have that same OCD personality at times.
I am so glad that Glee is back on TV! Since the show last night, I have been so cheerful! I am now that girl, walking around campus with my headphones in and be bopping along to the tune. I just feel the urge to sing along and believe me; no one would like that very much. I would like to think that I am really good at singing, but the sad truth…no, no I am not at all. That’s what makes the world go round; everyone is good at different things. With me, it’s not my singing skills…
What makes you special? Do whatever that may be today!

Now Open For Business
If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that I have an obsession with cupcakes. To me, cupcakes are instant happiness. How can you be mad when you see or eat a cupcake? See, they really are a source of happiness. Plus, you don’t feel guilty having two or three cupcakes. On the other hand, having three pieces of cake? That’s a different story…

Looks good enough to eat?
This weekend one of my good friends turned 21 and her family was coming into town to celebrate. She asked me to make birthday cupcakes for her. I was really excited, it was my first request! Usually I just make them without anyone asking. I made two dozen yellow with chocolate icing and mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups on top! Then I made two dozen strawberry cupcakes with a white frosting. They turned out really well, I am happy with the finished product. With that said, I am now taking orders for business!

“Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you!”
Two of my biggest blog followers came to Stillwater this weekend, my aunt Lisa and little cousin Allie. They all came down because Austin (my other cousin) took a tour of the OSU campus. He is considering coming here this next fall. After his campus tour we all had lunch at Mexico Joe’s, a Stillwater favorite. Then, they went to the game, so I spent some time with my Aunt. We hit up Starbucks, went to a few shops around town, then went to Louie’s and had a drink. It was a low key evening but much needed in my book.
I have a big exam on Thursday in Ag policy and I am not looking forward to it one bit! I cannot say that I feel any better either, I feel like I am getting a sinus infection or something of that sort. So I am going to try to stay healthy and get plenty of rest when I can.
Hope your week is starting off great!

First/Last
Today marks my first/last day of my college career. It’s a bittersweet feeling to say the least. I cannot believe that the past three years have gone by so fast. I am not going to live in the past; I am excited and ready for the present and the future!
Guess what? I am now the proud owner of an Iphone 4. Who knew something could be so great? I am already addicted; it might be the best thing ever. I never thought that I would be the one ignoring everyone around me, playing games, and tweeting my life away. I am now “that girl”
Friday was my dad’s birthday so I made the trip home to hang out with the family and go out for birthday dinner. My sister and I attacked the sea food buffet. I think we consumed 6 crab legs each. It was pretty much fantastic. Then, we went to Wal-Mart, purchased Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and the Last Song. It was a girl night all the way.

My mom made a blackberry cobbler for dad’s birthday cake, now you know where my bberry love comes from. See that cute little heart in the middle? Isn’t my mom the best?

With the left over pie crust I sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on them. I call these the crunches; they are great with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Crab domination, check it!
News today, I am unemployed! I have been at an upscale dress shop since my freshman year. I loved working there, however I just feel like I need a new direction. So I went in today and talked to them. Needless to say, I no longer have a job. On the bright side, I will start a new job in a week or so with the State 4-H office and I am really excited about it! It will go more along my schedule and no more working on weekends! AHH! I cannot wait for football season!
Tonight is formal dinner and chapter; it should be an interesting night. I always look forward to catching up with sisters after summer break. I love hearing what everyone has been doing. Also, it’s like a fashion show, there are so many cute dresses and shoes. I am an avid lover of both, so it makes for a good time.
What are your favorite Iphone apps?

Sweet Seventeen
I had the most awful interesting weekend, I am just going to leave it at that. I will leave the rest up to your imagination. It was an amusing Friday evening at my families house. Lauren turned 17 and my mom and daddy celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary.

Slowly my little sister is turning into me, I like pink more…just saying.
Anyways, the whole family went out for dinner and then we came back to the house and little girls and boys started arriving in packs, there were so many of them! I had to get out of the house fast, I could not take the giggling and awkward high school boys.

Here is Lauren and Megan (her best friend) everyone please note that I do know that she looks just like me…I am fully aware.
This week I should be in and out of the office. I am looking forward to it, just not all of the rain. Today is the first day I did not wear a dress to work, I had this bright idea to wear some dress pants…I wore white linen! Bad life choice on my part. I never have been more embarrassed. I just want a towel to put over them until they dry off!
